On January 21, 2019, the opening ceremony of  Sichuan University "Global Horizons" program - Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University winter camp was held at Institute of Economics, Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University.

Qian Zhiqi，the deputy secretary of CPSE committee  and Lu Xingyuan, undergraduate student of 2015 grade participate in this program.

Professor Sergey Michakov, Director of the Institute of Economics, Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University warmly welcomed the arrival of 19 teachers and students of Sichuan University. Nizhny Novgorod (formerly known as Gorky City) is a city with long history and beautiful scenery, Mr. Sergey Michakov said. He hopes that students can gain knowledge and experience from this winter camp and spend a pleasant learning time.

In the next two weeks, students from Sichuan University will study the course under guidance of 7 professors, including Prof. Kirill Igorevich Kolesov,  Prof.Nikolai Vladimrovich Usov,  Prof.Vasilisa Nikolaevna Novikova.
